PEP - who it's for
Our PEP (post exposure prophylaxis) service is for men and women who are concerned that they have been exposed to HIV infection in the previous three days. Our confidential service aims to give the best clinical care and advice available and to help patients make a decision as to whether PEP is appropriate.PEP - how it works
This service is available by appointment only and you need to specify that you are coming in to the clinic for advice on PEP. During your consultation you and the doctor will talk through your personal situation and why you think that PEP might be appropriate. If you and the doctor decide that PEP is appropriate, you'll need to have some blood tests including an instant HIV test.PEP - appointments
